Will I be able to update my new site myself?
If you understand a bit of html, probably yes. Our websites have the content separated from the layout (using CSS), so you can work on it if you feel like it. You can also sign up for a plan with us to do the work for you.

Do you offer FLASH sites?
It’s in the oven.

Do you offer BLOGS?
We do! You can choose between these third party companies: WordPress (awesome) and MovableType. We install, troubleshoot and customize the site for you.

Can Prefabulous register a domain for me?
We sure can, if the domain is available. Our domain fee is $10.00 a year per domain.

Are your fees one time or yearly?
Our sites are one-time fee. The only yearly fee you can incur with Prefabulous is if you choose to hire us to do monthly updates to your site.

How do I switch my domain over to you?
Dreamhost hosts our clients. Prefabulous will give you two name servers to give to your domain company. This will allow your domain company to re-point your domain to Dreamhost.

Does Dreamhost provide web mail?
Yes, you will receive access to web mail and you can also continue to use your regular email program (Outlook, Entourage, MacMail etc).

How long does it take from start to finish to build my new site?
Once you pick the layout, head over to PayPall and purchase it. If you have questions, send us an email (it usually takes less than 24 hours for us to respond). Then fill out our very simple questionnaire, attach the photos and the text you want on your site and send back it to us. Once we get all of your content, it will take 7-10 business days for us to build your website.

Do I have to pay before or after the work is done?
Yes, you have to pay BEFORE we start working on your project.

Can I have stats in my website?
Of curse, we all want to know how many visits we are getting. Google Analytics and statcounter.com are recommended. Both free.

Can I cancel an order?
If you cancel your website AFTER you've sent your content, we will retain 50% of the value. If you cancel BEFORE you've sent us the content, we’ll deduct 13% for the transaction/handling fees and return the rest via PayPal.

How many times do you sell a layout?
A few times, that's how we are able to offer layouts at such reasonable rates. We do change the color palette, font and images so they feel different.

I really like one layout and want to be the only person using it. Is this possible?
Of course! Tell us the code # of the layout and we'll give you a quote.

Can I use my own photos on my website instead of the ones you provide?
Yes, you can. You must retain the rights to all submitted images and they must be 72 DPI and at least 800x600 pixels to ensure quality.
